SURPLUS EQUIPMENT REQUEST FOR BIDS Pursuant to the county ordinance regarding the disposal of surplus property, on the 24TH day of April 2017, the Wayne County Commission ("the Commission") did hereby declare the following equipment surplus: QUANTITY 1 DESCRIPTION 2003 Dodge Durango VIN NO D4HS38N63F540200 Submit sealed bids to the Wayne County Commission, Room 104, Wayne County Courthouse, P.O. Box 248, Wayne, WV 25570. Mark the envelope "Surplus Property Bid". Bid shall make note of item description, bid amount, name, address and phone number of bidder. Bids must be received by 3:00 p.m., Friday, May 12, 2017. All bids will be opened by the Wayne County Commission in an open public meeting at the Commission's next regularly scheduled session following the close of the bidding. Any PUBLIC AGENCY shall have the right to request, in writing, the aforesaid Surplus Property within seven (7) days of the date of this notice. The Wayne County Commission offers no expressed or implied warranty on said surplus equipment. Items may be inspected by contacting 272-6592. Payment for surplus equipment must be cash, cashiers check, or money order made out to the Wayne County Commission and all equipment must be picked up within 5 days of notice of award.
