REQUEST FOR BID The Logan Emergency Ambulance Service Authority (LEASA) is seeking sealed bids for the purchase of 1 new type 2 Ambulance. The ambulance must be built on a Ford Transit 350 medium height chassis with six cylinder gasoline powered engine and meet all other specifications as recommended by the West Virginia Office of Emergency Medical Services. LEASA will offer for trade the following: 2011 Ford E-350 Type 2 Ambulance with McCoy Miller Conversion 303,474 Miles. Trade in vehicle is being offered in an "as is" condition. Large truck type mirrors, left and right. 2.Full Wheel covers. 3.lnverterinstalled. 4. Power vent in patient compartment. 5. LED emergency light package. 6. LED lighting in the Patient compartment. 7. 2 extra AC power and 2 USB ports to the front compartment. 8. ALS Cabinetry 9. Stryker Performance Pro load system with Stryker Performance Pro-XT cot. 10. Installed vacuum suction system. 11. Installed oxygen system with outlets on each side of patient compartment. 12. Storage area to accommodate two 18-inch backboards minimum 7" wide and 18 1/2 inches high. 13. Back up alarm. 14. All dark tinted windows ( not just regular factory tint). 15. clear coating. 17. Installed squad bench safety net. 18. Vehicle o ometer must be capable of reading tenths of a mile. 19. Locking medications cabinet. The winning bidder agrees to remove all LEASA decals and markings before trade-ins are resold. Bids are due in the LEASA office 511 Dingess Street Logan,WV 25601 by 11 a.m. December, 6, 2017. No bids will be accepted after that date and time. All sealed documents shall have the words "ambulance bid" marked clearly on the front.
